A Slice of True Living

All the grandkids, minus our West Point cadet, with my mom.

This slice of life... time held still... grabs my heart... reminds me again of the simplest things in life being the most important.

Family is the best place of belonging and, when combined with laughter, makes big-life problems fade away... if only for a short evening of eating together.

Two cousins are heading off to college, one for the first time; another is returning to NYC where dreams are being pursued. Two will be at high school in days.. a freshman and a senior.

Unpredictable life! Any given day could mean one- less- plate at the table. Therefore, every family dinner is important.

And... my mom... every time we enjoy her contagious laugh is a gift to all of us.

  1. Our family laughs together a lot. It is the best, isn't it.

  5. all I could do was smile – and smile – and smile. Your babies with the one whose baby you still are. Your last post all mystery – the blue door – and this one not mysterious at all – you know I'll be back for the next one. Bless and keep you and each and every one of yours.
